About Bentley
As there has been so much interest in Bentley, rather than him staying in foster for a while then moving to an adoptive home, we are looking for a long term foster to adopt home for him so he can settle in, work up some strength in his back legs, and get any other vet work (including neutering) done prior to adoption.
He is a wonderful gentle giant, barks for treats, gives paw, and rests his big head against you for more fuss. He adores older kids, is fine with cats, and on walks is fine with other dogs BUT he is very interested in sniffing their bits/attempting to hump so will need someone strong enough to hold him back, as although he's 11 he's strong when he wants to get close to other dogs.
He's fine left for a few hours at a time, loves the garden and small slow walks.
His back legs are weak but he gets around OK, doesn't go up stairs, and loves his toys.
