About Opal and Pearl
Very special homes needed for some very special kittens.
Meet Jasper, Topaz, Opal and Pearl who are Ruby's kitten's. We were alerted to this litter a couple of months ago living on some waste ground in Burton, after a couple of weeks they were finally trapped and have been in foster ever since. They are currently around 4 months old, and as they were slightly older when caught have been a lot harder to tame. The boys Jasper and Topaz are ever so slightly friendlier, Jasper is the bravest and Topaz has come on so well, he came in with a de gloved tail so had to have the end amputated. Since the operation he is so much happier and was obviously in a lot of pain.
The girls are much more shy, Opal looks permanently cross with you and Pearl just wants to hide all the time still.
They are vastly better than they were 6 weeks ago thanks to their fosters, but have weeks/months to go until they would be more "normal" kittens.
They are in foster with other cats, but have never met dogs and would likely set them back to be rehomed with any. We are looking for quiet, young child free homes that have lots of time to spend socialising with them and just being there around them, that are happy to just let them settle in at their own pace and not expect anything to happen quickly.
They will be homed in pairs of Jasper and Topaz, and Opal and Pearl. Kitten adoption donation is £125 for a pair, this includes their microchip, vaccinations, flea and wormer and neutering.
Applications to www.harleyshounds.org please.
Adoption Fee: £125.00
Our adoption fees cover the following:
- Neutering / Spaying*
- Full rescue back up.
*In some cases due to age or medical necessity, some animals may not be spayed or neutered before leaving rescue. In this case, the animal would be adopted under a 'spay contract' to be spayed at a date after adoption.
