About Annabelle
Annabelle (Belle) has been with us for nearly 3 months. During this time it has been a slow burner, with her staying hidden under the sofa for nearly 3 weeks. Belle really benefitted from her foster mum working from home as she had regular human interaction and began to build trust.
It has taken 2 months for her to feel safe in her foster home, but Belle now loves to play with toys in front of her foster mum, which is an absolutely joy to watch. She now explores the house and loves a fluffy blanket, especially on a warm cosy bed with nobody in it!
Belle is clean with her litter tray and eats wet and dry food. She will take a likelix by hand and will chase treats if thrown in her direction.
Belle is still very shy, doesn't like a lot of eye contact, and will run away if there are any fast movements or loud noises, and she feels threatened.
Belle needs time and patience to allow her to feel safe and secure in her new surroundings. Please understand this could be months, not weeks. Belle has already had a traumatic start in life, we dont want to add to that by rehoming multiple times!
Anticipated to be 18 months old and being a former stray in a Leicester city centre garden we think Belle will be best suited as an indoor cats with a calm, adult only home with no other pets.
She will go to her new home neutered, microchipped and vaccinated, anyone wishing to offer her a forever, loving home must be fully prepared to not put any pressure on her and do everything on her terms, she's likely to not be a lapcat and you must be ok with that.
An adoption donation of £90 applies. Applications through our website please (link in bio)
