Teeny little Bear is now looking for his forever home! 

He is a 20 month old chi x pomeranian boy, one of the tiniest dogs we've ever had in! What he lacks in size he certainly makes up for in love, that being said he needs a very specific forever home. 

Bear is great with most other dogs, he loves cats and is absolutely fine with older kids. Unfortunately Bear has some guarding issues over his carrier and crate, so will need a home that's either adult only, or with sensible over 10s or homes where children only visit and have strict boundaries over Bears areas.

He is fine to be left for a few hours in his crate or carrier. Once he's in his little safe spaces he just wants to be left alone, so potential homes must be happy to let him have that space and respect it. Bear is an anxious little lad around new people, but within 24 hours he's a proper little love bug and adores his foster dad especially. 

On walks he is quite nervous and scatty, being with another dog helps him a great deal so we are looking for a home WITH another friendly confident neutered dog. 

Bear is totally terrified of the vets and screams before he's even touched, so we've been advised to hold off on his neuter for around 6 months until he's settled into his new home before he is neutered. This will be included in his adoption donation, but must be done at Bright Side vets in Swadlincote. He is going to need a few social visits there over the next few months to get him used to being there and meeting staff, his adopter will need to make sure they're local and happy to do this. 

Bear is vaccinated and chipped.
