Dave is a large, fluffy, adult cat who originally came in to Harley's with his companion, Polly, but he is not settling in with her, and seems jealous of sharing his space with another cat. He is looking for a pet and child-free home where he can have a quiet life as the centre of attention.

He can be nervous and reserved at first, but soon comes out of his shell once he gets to know you.

He's not very interested in toys, but loves a scratch under the chin and a laze in the sunshine or on a warm lap. He also loves to find a windowsill where he can have a nosey at the neighbours!

Dave will need regular grooming to prevent his long coat from becoming matted; he is usually more than happy to enjoy the attention while you brush him, but can get a little tetchy around his sensitive areas like his tummy.

He would be fine to be left home alone if he were adopted by someone who worked outside the home, but would equally suit a home worker or retired person or couple.
