About Duke
Its now time for lovely Duke to find his forever home!
Duke is an 8/9 month old Frenchie boy who came into us a couple of months ago, his breathing difficulties were immediately apparent, he would vomit and gag at the slightest bit of exercise so he was an early candidate for BOAS surgery which was performed last month
Duke was pretty much immediately a much happier more comfortable boy, he is still on meds daily for reflux but the vets think he will possibly be able to come off these completely as he is much much better now and hasn't been vomiting at all lately, but if he does need to stay on this, adopters will need to take this into account. Its currently under £50 for a 3 month supply so not a bank breaker fortunately.
Duke is on Royal Canin Frenchie food, he eats well, is clean in the house, fine on walks as long as he is with another dog.
He LOVES people, loves dogs, fine with the resident cat, just a really super little fun loving lad. He is ok left short periods but will 100% need another dog for company, he would not be happy alone or with anyone out a lot.
Dukes adoption donation is £300, he is chipped and vaccinated, and will need to be neutered in the next couple of months. If you use our local vets, this is included in his adoption donation

Our adoption fees cover the following:
- Vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Neutering / Spaying*
- Full rescue back up.
*In some cases due to age or medical necessity, some animals may not be spayed or neutered before leaving rescue. In this case, the animal would be adopted under a 'spay contract' to be spayed at a date after adoption.
