Meet Jason and Blair

These little beauties came to us at 6 weeks old with their sisters Sabrina and Buffy after being found in a garden and full of cat flu. They really were in a sorry state with gunky eyes, runny noses and sneezing. They needed a few courses of eye drops, antibiotics and medicine but after a month of treatment, plenty of TLC and lots of love they are now ready to find their forever homes.

They are perfectly healthy now but adopters must be aware that they will all be life long cat flu carriers and any resident cats need to be fully vaccinated. Symptoms can reappear if they are stressed, vaccinated or slightly run down and will require antibiotics to treat as and when. Adopters need to be aware of this as there is potential for future vet bills.

Despite their tough start in life they are the most loving little kittens who always come running, purring away as soon as they hear their fosters voice – they absolutely LOVE cuddles. So much so Jason thinks he’s a scarf and spends his time wrapped around his fosters neck and Blair's favourite place is on her fosters chest or shoulder. All 4 are typical kittens – into everything, extremely playful and are obsessed with their toys (particularly their tunnel, cat teaser and climbing tree), they’ll have a mad half an hour and then like to spend the day snoozing until it’s either feeding, cuddle or play time!

They eat well and are on wet and dry food, their toilet training is 99% accurate as you would expect with 10 week old kittens.

They will go to their new homes in the following pairs – Jason and Blair and Sabrina and Buffy.

Jason is the most confident little man out of him and Blair and he likes rough play, Blair on the other hand is teeny tiny and much quieter, she likes to wait for her big brother to check things out first and will then follow. They are both EXTREMLEY cuddly and loving.

Wanting affectionate, cuddly kittens is a must with these 4!

All have grown up with the resident foster dog and whilst Jason and Blair could learn to live with a dog with gradual introductions Sabrina and Buffy do not like dogs and would rather go to a home without. They have all met the resident cats and were a little unsure but they could get used to them.

They will all have their first vaccinations and microchips before going to their new home and will need to return to Scarsdale vets in 2-3 weeks for their second vaccination. As they are too young to be neutered, they will go to their new home on a neuter contract, which needs to be completed between 4 and 6 months old. If this is done at Brightside we will cover the cost and if done at your vet we will pay £40 towards each kittens neutering.

If you are interested in adopting these babies please apply through our website www.harleyshounds.org an adoption donation of £180 per pair applies.
