Oscar is a 7 month old cocker spaniel x lurcher, who has come into us as an emergency due to biting the resident child from his prior home in the face. While it's just a small wound the family understandably can no longer keep him, so he's gone into an emergency foster home. 

We are looking for a foster to adopt home for Oscar, preferably with another playful young dog or 2. He's great with other dogs, but not yet neutered so any resident dogs will need to be. He's had a go at humping one of the female dogs in his foster home already, but is quite a submissive lad with playing so will be easily told no by them. The foster to adopt home will need to be local to Burton/Swadlincote areas so that he be booked in for all his vet work. 

Oscar does have some reported food aggression in his previous home, he's been fed separate from the other dogs here and hasn't shown any issues, so really that just needs to continue, and to not allow any high value treats around other dogs, or human food. 

He is not cat tested, and obviously couldn't live with any children, any resident kids would need to be at least teenagers. 

He's super cuddly with people and loves a fuss, and very happy to go out walking with and around other dogs. 

Oscar isn't crate trained, and will need someone home often so that he isn't left alone for long periods initially. He's got a little basic training but does need more work, he is house trained.
