About Racetrack & Apollo

Racetrack and Apollo - Are you looking for a cat that has delectable floppy ears with the eyes of Steve Buscemi? Well look no further as this is Racetrack! What’s that? You also want a cat that’s extraordinarily handsome, can break hearts at a glance and has the patient face of a school councillor? Well have we got the kitty for you! Say hello to Apollo!

Racetrack and Apollo had an unfortunate start in life after they were dumped in a box in a puddle with their brother and sisters. Since then, Racetrack and Apollo’s life have been on the up and up as they’ve learnt the delights being a pet cat can bring. Racetrack’s delights include snoozing whilst sat up, power jumping and like his name suggests, being super fast.

On the other hand Apollo delights in butt wiggling before attacking his prey (his toys), showing off his tummy for all to see and face planting his food so he can show off his mucky face.

Racetrack and Apollo are hand reared kitties meaning they’re more likely to be super cuddly, enjoy the company of people and make a great family additions. They’re already eating a mixture of wet and dry food and are clean with a litter tray. Racetrack and Apollo are also used to other cats as they’ve mingled with our resident grown ups and enjoy playing with each other and their siblings. Although they’ve not met any dogs yet, at this age it would be super easy to integrate them with cat savvy dogs. Racetrack and Apollo have also been bought up in a house with children.

Although it’s easy to overlook a black or black and white cat I can assure you that Racetrack and Apollo are kitties that are hard to forget. Plus who wouldn’t want a mini panther and a smart tuxedo gentlemen as a friend or companion?

Racetrack and Apollo are currently around 6 weeks old, and will be ready to leave at 9 weeks after their first vaccination and chip. They will need to return for their second vaccines 3 weeks later, and then neuter between 4 and 6 months.

If you use Bright Side vets in Swadlincote we cover the cost in full, or provide a voucher towards the cost of the neuter at your own vets.

Adoption donation is £180
