About Samara

Carrie, Samara and Regan are now looking for their forever homes! The girls (although Regan is debatable and will be confirmed by the vet next week) are absolutely beautiful little kittens, they came in as pretty mean little ferals from a local sports club after their mum was hit by a car leaving them alone at around 3/4 weeks old.

Carrie and Samara tamed pretty quickly, they're both incredibly fussy once they know you and Carrie especially is very people orientated. Samara is desperate to be friends with the older cats in the foster home, and Regan is Regan she is a real character, I've finally got to the point where I can pick her up, stroke her, but she would REALLY rather I just left her to play lol.

I would love the girls to go as a trio, but it's unlikely anyone will be willing to take 3 cats on at once unfortunately so they will have to be split, and it's been an incredibly hard decision to decide which would go off alone.

Regan definitely needs to stay with one of her sisters, so Carrie as the most affectionate will be paired up with her so that she feels confident in her new home. The adopters will need to be aware that she may never be a lap cat, or want to be fussed, but she's perfectly tame other than the odd hiss very rarely when you pick her up.

Samara is happy with any other cats, she's very playful and always cuddling up with an older cat so as a single kitten, will only be homed there are 1 or more sociable, friendly cats.

They will likely take a while to get used to their new humans, they are used to 2 very cat savvy children so would be fine to live with older gentle kids. They all do HATE dogs. Samara is very keen to get outside already, so she will definitely need to be homed somewhere with either a safe enclosed garden, or well away from busy roads.

The kittens will have their first vaccination and chip this week, and will be ready to leave by the weekend. They will need to return to Bright Side vets 3 weeks later for their second vaccination, and between 4 and 6 months of age for their neuter. This is all included in their adoption donation of £150 for Carrie and Regan, and £75 for Samara. Applications to www.harleyshounds.org please

And if anyone is happy to take them on as a trio, please do get in touch!
