We are now taking applications for Scruffy, Scruffy is a 6 year old lab x yorkie.
Scruffy has had LOTS of interest so we are anticipating an awful lot of applications, we will keep them open until lunch time tomorrow but will be unable to get in touch with everyone who applies, only the home that will best suit her needs.
Scruffy has come from a home with children and cats, she is a timid little thing so we are looking for a home home no under 10s.
She loved cats in her old home and would happily cuddle up with them, but WILL chase one that runs.
Scruffy is such a cuddly little girl, she will sleep downstairs at night but likes to follow her foster mum around and would probably love to be allowed on the bed at night too.

She is shy initially around new people, but once she knows and trusts you will be your best friend.
As she hasn't had any vaccinations, we have been unable to thoroughly dog test Scruffy. She hasn't had any reaction to those she has seen from a slight distance so far but due to this we are looking for a home without any other dogs just to ease her into her new life.
Scruffy will be fine to be left a few hours at a time, but wouldn't suit full time workers. Please do consider post lockdown life when applying.

Scruffy is being neutered this week, so will be ready to leave for her new home soon providing the new home can take her in for her second vaccination in a few weeks time to our Swadlincote vets.
