This is the gorgeous Stanley, a 17 week old lurcher male who came into us a couple of weeks ago.

Stanley has settled in beautifully into his foster home, he's fantastic with the other dogs in the home and will 100% need another friendly neutered dog (or 2) in his new home.

He's a really friendly, loving, typical nutty pup who loves to race around playing followed by a lengthy snooze (often on the human bed).

At this age Stanley would be fine to live with sensible older children, but he will be a large lurcher and exhibit typical puppy behaviour so not suitable for very young children.

We are ideally looking for a home for Stanley with other lurchers, with plenty of breed experience.

Stanley is fine left on his own for a couple of hours at a time as long as he has other dogs with him, he can cry a little but soon settles.

He'll need plenty of exercise as he gets older so a really nice active home would be perfect for him.

Stanley isn't cat tested.

He is fully vaccinated and chipped, and will be adopted on a neutering contract to be completed at an age appropriate time for his breed. If you use our Swadlincote vets we will cover the cost of this in full, or pay towards the cost at your own vets.
